Skeeters to Host Lone Survivor Foundation Benefit Night

SUGAR LAND, TX— The Sugar Land Skeeters will be hosting a benefit night for the Lone Survivor Foundation on Friday, September 14, as the Skeeters take on the Long Island Ducks, with first pitch at 6:30 p.m. Friday night’s game will also be sponsored by Windstream.

The Skeeters will be donning a special-edition military-themed camouflage jersey in honor of the benefit night, and all jerseys worn by players and coaches will be auctioned off through a silent auction during the game, with proceeds donated to the Lone Survivor Foundation. The Skeeters will also be selling a commemorative patriotic-themed Skeeters hat at their team store at Constellation Field, with proceeds also donated to the Lone Survivor Foundation.

Fans can purchase $12 field box tickets at, or the Skeeters mobile app, by using the promo code “LSF” and half of the ticket proceeds will be donated to the Lone Survivor Foundation.

After the conclusion of the game, 80s cover band “The Spazmatics” will be performing a post-game concert at the Bud Light Icehouse in right-center field. Fans will be able to watch the concert from the Constellation Field outfield with their ticket to the game.

The Skeeters begin their 2018 postseason push on Tuesday, Sept. 17, with their first-round opponent still to be determined. The Skeeters will host Game 3 of their first-round series at 7:05 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, at Constellation Field. They will also host Game 4 on Sept. 22 and Game 5 on Sept. 23, if necessary, with both Game 4 and 5 scheduled to start at 6:05 p.m.

If the Skeeters advance to the Atlantic League Championship Series, they will host Game 1 at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Constellation Field and Game 2 at 7:05 p.m. on Sept. 26.
