WELCOME TO THE SWARM: Prior to Monday's game, the Skeeters signed infielder Luke Dykstra, son of former Major League All-Star and World Series champion, Lenny Dykstra. Luke began the 2018 season with Double-A Springfield (STL) and has hit .225/.267/.258 with eight RBIs in 49 games. The Atlanta Braves selected Luke in the seventh round of the 2014 MLB Draft out of Westlake High School (Westlake Village, Calif.). He's spent three seasons in the Braves' Minor League system (2014-16) and two in the Cardinals' system (2017-18), peaking at Double-A. He's hit .278/.319/.349 with four home runs and 126 RBIs in 313 career games at the affiliated level.

KEEPIN' IT 100: The Skeeters stole two bases in Sunday's win, giving the team 101 stolen bases on the season, which is the fourth time in the franchise's seven-year history that they've reached the 100-stolen-base mark. Out of the 101 stolen bases, the Skeeters have been caught 28 times (78-percent success rate). The Skeeters rank third as a team in the Atlantic League in stolen bases, trailing Somerset (137) and Lancaster (184). The Skeeters set their franchise record in 2017 with 162 stolen bases as a team. Alvaro Rondon is tied for fourth in the league with 26 stolen bases and Anthony Giansanti is seventh with 25 stolen bases.

FEAR THE BEARD: Felipe Paulino picked up his 24th save of the season in Sunday's win and leads the Atlantic League in the category. The former Major Leaguer has allowed just one run over his last 21 appearances, spanning 21 innings pitched, and his 0.65 ERA is the lowest of any pitcher in the league with at least 40 innings pitched. Paulino has also struck out 47 batters over his last 26 outings (27.1 IP). Derrick Loop set the Skeeters' single-season saves record in 2016 with 32, not including four saves in the 2016 postseason.

Through his first 22 games with the Skeeters, Juan Silverio has hit .291/.322/.500 with five home runs and 16 RBIs. Silverio has driven in a run in four straight games and has hit .353 (6-for-17) with eight RBIs over that span. Silverio's eight RBIs over the last seven days are tied for the second-most in the Atlantic League over that span. Silverio also delivered a walk-off single in the 11th inning of Friday's win over Somerset.

BARNES BASH: Barrett Barnes is in the midst of a 10-game hitting streak and has gone 15-for-35 (.429) with 13 runs, two doubles, four home runs and 10 RBIs over the streak. Barnes has also homered in three of his last six games and eight of his last 21 games. The seventh-year pro has set his professional single-season career high with 12 home runs, surpassing his previous high of nine home runs, which he's accomplished twice, with the last time coming in 2016 with Double-A Altoona (PIT). Barnes' 12 home runs place him in a tie for ninth in the Atlantic League. Barnes also leads the league with 57 walks, is second with 68 runs and second with a .411 on-base percentage.

GIANSANITY: Anthony Giansanti went 2-for-5 in Sunday's win, extending his hitting streak to nine games.
